TAA Compliant Varjo XR-3

Do you require TAA (Trade Agreements Act) compliant devices for your deployments? Varjo now offers TAA-compliant XR-3 headsets thanks to our new dedicated manufacturing capabilities. For high-security environments, we can also produce a version with wireless radios disabled.

Mixed Reality Headset for High Security Environments

For deployments requiring specialized compliance, we can provide two custom-built versions of the XR-3 that are built in-house by Varjo in Finland.

Including the same industry-leading capabilities, high-security standards and visual quality of the regular XR-3, both versions are fully TAA compliant and include an offline license so they can be used in environments where internet connections are not possible.

    • XR-3 – TAA Compliant variant with an offline license: USD 16 490 per headset
    • XR-3 – TAA Compliant variant with no radio components (neither RF chips nor antennae)  and an offline license: USD 19 490 per headset

Note: Due to the ommision of radio components, SteamVR wireless connectivity is disabled. This means you cannot connect SteamVR controllers and it is not possible to wirelessly turn on/off base stations or update the firmware.

Both TAA-compliant offerings are available in the United States via General Service Agreement (GSA) Contract #47QSMA20D08QG, held by authorized Varjo partner ITI Systems of Beltsville, Maryland.

NEW TAA-compliant headset for advanced mixed reality training use cases

Varjo XR-3 Focal Edition

The Varjo XR-3 Focal Edition offers the ultimate visual precision for advanced mixed reality use cases where visualizing small text and illustrations on physical instruments is mission-critical.

A variant of the standard TAA-compliant Varjo XR-3, the XR-3 Focal Edition was designed to provide superior visual quality for mixed reality implementations where real-world objects such as cockpits, car dashboards, cell phones, and kneeboards are used in close range.
