System requirements with Varjo Reality Cloud
Hardware requirements
These are the hardware requirements for XR-3 and VR-3 when running applications locally. Note that system requirements are lower with Varjo Reality Cloud.
Desktop computers
These are the hardware requirements when using Aero with a desktop computer:

1 Aero is compatible with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 20- and 30-series GPUs that meet the minimum requirements. Note that AMD graphics cards are currently not supported.

Laptop computers
Varjo Aero is compatible with high-end mobile workstations and laptop computers. For recommended laptop configurations, see Varjo-Ready computers for Varjo Aero.
These are the hardware requirements when using Varjo Aero with a laptop computer:

1 While mobile and desktop GPUs may have identical product names, performance is significantly lower when using mobile GPUs. Note that AMD graphics cards are currently not supported.
Note that laptop GPUs have limited processing power compared to desktop GPUs. For the best possible experience, we recommend running simple applications when using a laptop.

Software requirements
The following software is required to use Aero.
Note that your computer must be connected to the internet when using Aero.
An offline subscription for Aero is available for enterprise customers with special requirements for high-security environments. If you require an offline subscription for Aero, please contact Varjo sales for more information.

System requirements with Varjo Reality Cloud
With Varjo Reality Cloud, graphics rendering for your application is moved into the cloud. This allows for lower hardware requirements compared to rendering on your local computer.
