Uploading applications and creating sessions

1. To upload a Unity or Unreal Engine application to Varjo Reality Cloud, in Varjo Base, go to Services menu and open Varjo Reality Cloud.
2. Select New.
3. Options:

• • If you want to create a one-time session and do not want to store the application file in Reality Cloud, select Session, and in Organization, select which organization’s account you want to use.
    • Select Create session. The session starts and the file will not be stored in Reality Cloud once you end the session.
  • If you want to upload the file for later use by yourself or by the members of your organization, select File upload. In Organization, if you are a member of more than one organization, select which organization’s account you want to use for streaming. In addition, if you select Visible to my organization, the members of this organization can access the application, too.
    • Select Create: The uploading starts immediately and the upload time is dependent on your file size and network connection. You can see the upload progress in the session card.

Use a compressed .zip file that contains all the needed files to run the application. For compressing, use Windows standard export functionality and do not remove anything from the output file.

Starting a session

All applications already uploaded and shared with your organization are visible in the Main view. To start a new session, click Start session in the file you want to use.

The maximum number of simultaneous sessions is defined by the number of seats in the Reality Cloud subscription.

Ending a session

To end your session, select End session and select End session again to confirm.

Deleting application files

To delete any Unity or Unreal Engine application files uploaded in Varjo Reality Cloud for your organization, in the Main view, at the file, select the three-dot menu and Delete.
